Info on the performer: Bam Bam (@bambampresents) is a force to be reckoned with, and never content to be pigeonholed into one genre. Her performances take her audience on a journey exploring gender, fetish, feminism and politics. Burlesque, sideshow and performance art are combined with powerful effect – as a siren on the burlesque stage, Bam Bam’s performances will morph from pure sugar sweetness into confrontational sideshow acts such as stapling, fire breathing, glass walking and eating, hammering nails into her nose, and more. Bam Bam extends her repertoire as a singer, producer and actor. Recent projects have included “Killjoy the Show” at Melbourne Fringe and Adelaide Fringe Festival, “The Syndicate” at World Sideshow Festival, Adelaide Fringe and Woodford Folk Festival, and other events including Grrl Fest, Provocateur and Found Festival.
